News Corp. is contemplating the launch of a national cable sports network in the U.S., according to a person familiar with the matter.
The New York-based media company has been discussing the idea on and off for several months, though it hasn’t made a decision. If it does go ahead, such a venture would not launch any time this year, the person said.
