Live, on Tape, Via the Internet: WikiLeaks, the TV Show

Sooner or later, everyone with access to a video camera, a couple chairs and a broadband connection decides they want to get into the Charlie Rose business. Hence “The World Tomorrow,” from WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.

Here’s the promo, released this morning. The first episode, featuring Assange chatting up bird-flipping Super Bowl performer M.I.A., runs April 17. WikiLeaks says you should be able to watch it on the Web and via Russian cable news network RT, which you can get in the U.S. via the Dish Network and on some Comcast and Time Warner Cable systems.

WikiLeaks says Assange has taped 12 of these so far. I hope one of the guests turns out to be Saturday Night Live’s Bill Hader.
