Samsung Electronics Co. named Kwon Oh-hyun, head of its chip and liquid-crystal-display units for the past six months, as chief executive officer.
Mr. Kwon succeeds Choi Gee-sung, who has led the world’s largest technology manufacturer as CEO since early 2009.
