Huawei Activa 4G Launches at MetroPCS for $149

MetroPCS added a new 4G LTE smartphone to its lineup today with the launch of the Huawei Activa 4G. It’s Huawei’s first 4G smartphone in the U.S. and the most affordable one in the carrier’s portfolio, at $149.99 (after a $50 mail-in rebate) without contract. There are some trade-offs for the cheaper price, including an older version of Android and a smaller 3.5-inch touchscreen, but you also get a five-megapixel camera and a four gigabyte microSD card preloaded with “Kung Fu Panda 2.” The Huawei Activa 4G is available now.
