Sony’s First U.S. 4G Smartphone Bound for AT&T June 24
Joining Acer in announcing pricing and availability for devices announced at CES 2012 is AT&T, which revealed that the Sony Xperia Ion will go on sale June 24 for $100 with a two-year contract. It’s Sony’s first 4G smartphone for the U.S. market, and features a 4.6-inch HD display, an HDMI port and a 12-megapixel camera. The phone will eventually be upgradeable to Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich OS.
