Nintendo Hires Senior Disney Exec to Oversee Digital Games Strategy

Nintendo of America has hired Duncan Orrell-Jones to head up the company’s very important digital strategy for the Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Orrell-Jones, who will start July 1, will hold the title of SVP of Nintendo’s Network Business. He will work in Redmond, Wash., and report to the Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. Most recently, Orrell-Jones was SVP at the Disney Interactive Media Group.
