Larry Page’s Voice Is Still Lost

As Google promised, CEO Larry Page didn’t join the company earnings call today due to his health.

“There is no more new news on Larry, Larry has lost his voice,” said Nikesh Arora, the company’s chief business officer.

Note his use of the past tense — apparently Page’s voice is still out of commission, a month after the issue was first disclosed.

Page “continues to run the company and he’s here, and involved on all the strategic business decisions we’re making,” Arora said.

But for those of us on the outside, we’ll have to wait at least three months for our quarterly dose of Larry’s excitement.
