UberConference Maker Firespotter Snags $15 Million Led by Andreessen Horowitz

Firespotter Labs, which was founded by Craig Walker of GrandCentral and incubated at Google Ventures, has received a $15 million Series B round led by Andreessen Horowitz, with Blake Krikorian joining its board. Though Firespotter had experimented with restaurant and general ratings apps, the funding is for the company to direct toward communications and telephony products like the new UberConference, it said.
