Airbnb Snags Members of DailyBooth Team in Mobile Talent Grab
Online home rental service Airbnb announced on Tuesday that it has “acqhired” some of the team behind photo sharing apps DailyBooth and Batch, in an effort to boost Airbnb’s mobile talent. First reported by TechCrunch, the company has only snagged the people behind the apps — including DailyBooth CEO Brian Pokorny — not the technology or the apps themselves. So while they won’t be shut down, DailyBooth and Batch won’t be further developed. Exact terms of the deal were not disclosed.
