SAP Will Pay Oracle $306 Million Over Copyright Infringement

Software giant Oracle has agreed to accept $306 million in damages from rival SAP stemming from the bitter copyright infringement lawsuit the two contested in 2010. SAP admitted to the infringement on the eve of the trial, pled guilty to several criminal charges stemming from the theft of Oracle software and paid fines to the U.S. Department of Justice.
