Viacom Inc.’s earnings fell 7% for its fiscal third quarter as it continued to suffer from weak ratings, particularly on its Nickelodeon children’s network.
The media conglomerate on Friday reported a $534 million profit for the period ended June 30, compared with $574 million a year earlier. Revenue fell 14% to $3.2 billion.
