Viral Video: The Cast of “The West Wing” Reunites to Promote Non-Partisan Voting (Also Walking and Talking at the Same Time)

If you are a fan of the hit television series “The West Wing,” you’ll be thrilled at this video, titled “Walk-and-Talk the Vote,” that brings a huge number of key cast members together for a little political satire.

The reason? A political ad that encourages registered voters to cast votes in the non-partisan section of general election ballots in the November election.

The link to the “West Wing” is Bridget Mary McCormack, who is running for the Michigan Supreme Court. She happens to be the older sister of Mary McCormack, who played National Security Advisor Kate Harper on the TV show. McCormack spent $5,000 on the video; the production costs were gratis from the cast and crew.

Also featured in the video promoting non-partisan voting related to supreme courts in a spate of states are: Martin Sheen, Alison Janney, Lily Tomlin, Bradley Whitford, Richard Schiff, Janel Maloney, Joshua Malina and Melissa Fitzgerald.

A smaller group of former cast members has done walk-and-talk video spoofs before — it was a signature of “The West Wing” — but this one is the best so far.
