Crash-Test Smartphones: Apple’s iPhone 5 vs. Samsung’s Galaxy S III
Samsung may have been found guilty of patent infringement when it comes to smartphone design, but the Korean electronics company hasn’t copied Apple in terms of durability.
That’s if you trust SquareTrade, the electronics warranty company that likes to perform entertaining — but still, er, hard-hitting — crash tests with popular gadgets.
In its latest video, SquareTrade puts Apple’s new iPhone 5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S III smartphone to the test, dropping each phone on paved roads, dunking them in a swimming pool and banging TV remotes against the phones.
In June, the company pitted Apple’s iPhone 4S against the Galaxy S III, which you can view here, if your Friday is going really slowly.
