New ShoeDazzle CEO Conducts Layoffs, Secures More Funding

A small shake-up at ShoeDazzle is under way, just days after its CEO was replaced with founder Brian Lee. According to a source close to the company, ShoeDazzle laid off a small number of employees today. Cuts were estimated to affect “a low double-digit percentage.” The source also confirmed that the Los Angeles-based e-commerce provider recently raised $6 million in new funding from insiders, which is in addition to the $40 million it raised last year.
