Yahoo CTO Ash Munshi Out

Yahoo’s revolving door is turning once again. Today comes news that CTO Ash Munshi quietly left the company earlier this summer, prior to Marissa Mayer’s appointment as CEO. Hired in the wake of the firing of former CEO Carol Bartz, Munshi hadn’t even been at Yahoo a year when he left. It’s not yet clear if Mayer has tapped his replacement or even has one in mind. News of Munshi’s departure was first reported by Business Insider. Yahoo confirmed that Munshi was no longer with the company but did not comment further.
