Esri Acquires Location Services Company Geoloqi

Geographic software company Esri announced Monday it will acquire Geoloqi, a location-based services platform that provides geolocation tools to developers creating apps for mobile devices. Geoloqi’s entire Portland, Oregon-based team will join Redlands, Calif.-based Esri (though Geoloqi will continue working out of Portland), and the Geoloqi product will be integrated into Esri’s product suite while continuing to support its existing developer base. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
