Android Jelly Bean Headed to Galaxy S III
There’s no hard date yet, but Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is headed to Galaxy S III in the U.S. Samsung, the smartphone’s manufacturer, said Wednesday that a Jelly Bean update will be issued for its flagship Android handset in “the coming months.” Firm launch dates for the software are to be revealed by the S III’s carriers: AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless and U.S. Cellular. Jelly Bean will add a number of new features to the phone, including improved notifications and Google Now.
