Apple Offering to Replace Some Hard Drives in Older iMacs

Apple is reaching out to certain iMac owners to alert them that some hard drives used in 21.5-inch and 27-inch systems could fail. Customers who purchased an iMac between October 2009 and July 2011 with a Seagate 1TB hard drive should receive an email, but if you haven’t been contacted and would like to see if your computer is part of the recall, you can check by entering your serial number here.
