Business-software maker SAP AG defied the dismal economic climate to deliver a 16 percent rise in revenue, and changed the company structure to put its Web-based, or “cloud,” business in focus.
The German company gave an optimistic outlook, saying it expects to reach the upper end of its forecast if the economic environment doesn’t deteriorate.
