So, What Was That You Were Saying About the iPad Mini Being Too Expensive?

Apple’s new iPad mini went on sale earlier this morning and already preorders for the white version of the device are sold out in all capacities. As of this writing, the black iPad mini is still available for delivery on Nov. 2, the day it arrives in Apple’s brick-and-mortar stores. Could supplies be constrained? Sure. But obviously the demand is there. Evidently, the premium Apple is charging for the tablet isn’t putting off consumers, as some had predicted. As we said earlier this week, Apple doesn’t need a $200 iPad mini.
