HTC and Verizon Want Another Shot at the Holiday Shopping Budget

Apparently, new mobile device season isn’t quite over.

HTC and Verizon on Tuesday sent an email invitation for a Nov. 13 event in New York.

“We invite you to experience our latest collaboration,” the companies say in the otherwise nondescript invite.

The companies have been speculated to have a large high-end smartphone in the works for a late 2012 launch.

Whatever HTC and Verizon have up their sleeves, the move follows a series of fall introductions, including the launch of Windows 8, Windows Phone 8, the Nexus 4, the iPad mini, Kindle Fire HD, and more.
