For a tech start-up to get to 100 million users is a remarkable feat, one that took Facebook more than four years. Online storage firm Dropbox on Tuesday announced it had achieved that milestone in nearly the same time.
That isn’t bad for a company that some have derided as a feature, not a product. By that, critics mean that larger companies would squash the start-up as they adopted similar technology.
