AMD Shares Up on Real Estate Sale-Leaseback
Shares of chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices are rising by more than 4 percent today on word that the company expects to make between $150 million and $200 million on a sale-leaseback deal pending on its 58-acre campus in Austin, Texas. The move had been rumored earlier this month, and will alleviate a worsening shortage of cash.
