Yahoo Strikes Media Deal With NBC Sports

As we predicted back in October, Yahoo and NBC Sports announced on Sunday that the two companies will pair up for future sports coverage, combining Yahoo’s Web-based sports reporting with NBC’s television and digital resources. The two sites will continue maintaining separate newsrooms and editorial control over their respective content, but collaborate on major sporting events on both television and the Web.
