Start-Ups, Get Your Own Secret Sauce With Free Kaggle Contests

Kaggle, the site for data science competitions, said today that it wanted to help other start-ups extract lessons from their data about how to make their products smarter. Kaggle is waiving its fees for five start-ups, although it expects the chosen five to offer at least $5,000 or 0.5 percent in equity to their own winners.
