Cisco to Acquire BroadHop
Networking giant Cisco Systems says it will acquire BroadHop, a Denver-based company focused on network management products used by service providers. The announcement was made in a corporate blog post; financial terms were not disclosed. BroadHop will be integrated into Cisco’s Service Provider Networking Group, and its team will report to Shailesh Shukla, VP and general manager of Cisco’s Software and Applications Group.
