Adobe to Acquire Behance in Bid to Boost Online Business

Adobe Systems Inc. has agreed to acquire privately held social media platform Behance as it seeks to enhance its online creative services business. No terms were given for the deal.

“Behance will play a key role in Adobe’s efforts to serve the creative world in the years to come and will accelerate our efforts to enable a more open and collaborative creative community,” said David Wadhwani, general manager at Adobe.
