Apple’s Newest Ad: If Only Via FaceTime

A proto-Zooey Deschanel on an iPad mini, accompanying herself adorably on the ukulele, sings “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” to a grandfatherly dude (on a full-sized iPad) via FaceTime in Apple’s latest commercial. There’s no last-minute shopping promo — beyond the subtle message that minis are for kids — just snow falling gently over the Apple logo.

Not an overt one, anyway. Enjoy:
