Huawei Implicated in Effort to Sell HP Servers to Iranian Mobile Carrier: Report
Despite trade sanctions, a close partner of Huawei Technologies tried to sell Hewlett-Packard computer servers to the largest mobile operator in Iran in 2010, according to a new report from Reuters based on proposal documents. However, it’s unclear why the deal did not come to fruition, and it appears that none of the discussed equipment actually entered Iran.
