Sergey Brin Takes His Google Goggles for a New York City Subway Spin

sergey brin subway google glassesjpegCelebrity billionaires are just like us! They take the subway, too!

But when they do, some of them wear their personalized virtual reality goggles.

Here’s the now-famous picture of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, wearing his Google Glass augmented reality specs, riding the New York City subway. It’s from Noah Zerkin, who says he snapped it after chatting with Brin on a downtown-bound #3 train.

Double-bonus for Zerkin: He happens to be an “Augmented Reality enthusiast/hardware prototyper” who plays with this stuff at SuperTouch Group. (Sure hope he hasn’t Lennay Kekua’d us!)

For a not-totally-safe-for-work interview with a Googler who also wears his Glasses out and about in New York City, check out this Gothamist interview.
