Incubators From Abroad Follow the Money — To U.S.
To pursue venture-capital funding and build a bridge to the U.S. market, foreign startup incubators are coming to the source: Silicon Valley.
At a time when some U.S. incubators are shrinking, startup incubators from Russia, Australia and Japan are ramping up in the Bay Area, buying office space and launching programs to establish ties with Silicon Valley investors. Among them: Russia-based Farminers and Startmate from Australia, both of which are trying to extend the reach of their homegrown programs.
