SAP Gives Upbeat Outlook
SAP AG said Wednesday its business customers are continuing to snap up its new Internet, mobile and database products in a bid to save on costs and it expects the double-digit revenue growth it has delivered over the past three years to continue this year.
The German software giant is benefiting from its concerted push into new technologies after profits stumbled in 2009 because of the global economic crisis. It has launched cloud computing products, where software services can be accessed via the Web, saving companies heavy installation costs, mobile business services for smartphones and tablets and superfast database analysis, enabling companies to profit from the increasing amounts of data they store.
