Snapchat Lands $13.5 Million in Round Led By Benchmark Capital

Snapchat, the popular photo and video message app known for messages that disappear after a short time, has raised a $13.5 million round of venture capital funding in a round led by Benchmark Capital, at an implied valuation of $60-70 million according to a report in The New York Times.
