Gavin Newsom Talks About Transparent Government (Video)
Last week, I ambled over to the Founders Den in San Francisco’s SOMA neighborhood to talk to California Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom about his new book, “Citizenville: How to Take the Town Square Digital and Reinvent Government.”

Newsom’s point is to turn citizens into collaborators in the operation of government, changing it from what he describes as a “vending machine” now to an inclusive and interactive social platform.
