The U.S. government is planning a large-scale project that seeks to create the most comprehensive map of the human brain assembled so far, according to scientists involved in the project.
Scientists likened the Brain Activity Map effort to the Human Genome Project, the government-led initiative that helped decipher the human genetic code and provided a huge boost for the genetics industry.
