Apple’s Podcast App No Longer Reel-To-Reel
The slow, painful evolution of Apple’s poorly received Podcast app continued apace this week with yet another update. Released Thursday version 1.2 features some desperately needed “stability and performance enhancements” and a new interface that does away with the controversial skeuomorphic tape deck UI that preceded it. Also new to the app, the ability to create personalized podcast stations stored in iCloud.
