Download the Official D11 App, Which Is Almost as Good as Being There (Right?)

As those of you on the wait list already know, D11 is sold out — and has been for some time. But whether you’re joining us in Rancho Palos Verdes for the conference or not, you can still follow along with all the action here on AllThingsD.

As in previous years, we’ll be covering all the speakers and events at D: All Things Digital, including photos, videos and a few live blogs of speakers like Apple CEO Tim Cook and Tesla founder Elon Musk. Also making a repeat appearance is our official conference mobile app, which you can download for iOS and Android devices.

The app offers quick, easy access to a few things that everyone can enjoy: News and videos from the conference, bios of the speakers and a discussion board for anyone following along. Of course, those of you who are more social media inclined should also join the discussion using the hashtag #D11 on Twitter and Instagram.

For attendees, the app also offers a map of the Terranea Resort and a schedule showing when sessions, meals and networking events start and end. If the schedule changes at all over the course of D11, we’ll be updating it live, so the app will have the most up-to-date information.

Finally, we’re asking attendees to turn on location services and push notifications for the app (which will ask you for permission when you first launch it). If you do that, we’ll be able to send notifications to your device with any important updates related to the schedule or the offstage events.
