Sheryl Sandberg on Facebook, One Year After the IPO (Video)
It’s been a long, rough road for Facebook after the company was first listed on the Nasdaq exchange one year ago. The stock, which debuted at $38 per share, dropped drastically almost immediately after its debut; the stock is currently trading at around $23 per share.
While the share price drop is a bummer, Sandberg obviously isn’t terribly worried about the company’s prospects. “We’re stronger now than we were at IPO,” Sandberg said. Facebook is bigger, with more geographies, and engagement has increased.
