Twitter Launches Vine for Android

About four months after debuting the iOS app, Twitter announced today that Vine is finally available for Android smartphones. The video-sharing service requires Android 4.0 or higher and shares many of the same features as the iOS app; Twitter acknowledged that front-facing camera support, search mentions and hashtags will be added in future updates. One unique feature of the Android app is zoom. Vine for Android is available now as a free download at the Google Play Store.
