Mayors of New York and San Francisco Team Up to Host Tech Summit

Mayors Michael R. Bloomberg and Edwin Lee (New York City and San Francisco, respectively) announced on Friday that the two cities would host a digital technology summit, inviting top minds in tech and business to convene and discuss technology issues as they relate to civic institutions and cities. The first session will be held in New York this September, while the second session will be held in San Francisco early next year. Aptly, the announcement was made at commerce company Square’s headquarters in San Francisco.
