Automattic Acquires Poster, a Mobile WordPress Client

Poster, an iOS-based WordPress client startup, announced on Monday that it has been acquired by Automattic, the parent company of WordPress.com. Tom Witkin, Poster’s sole developer, will join Automattic, along with the Poster technology, which is no longer available in the App Store. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
