Facebook, Flipboard, NFL Fantasy Football Headed to Windows 8

It has taken nearly a year, but Microsoft’s Windows 8 operating system will finally get its own Facebook app. During Microsoft’s Build conference keynote in San Francisco Wednesday, CEO Steve Ballmer said a native app from the social network is headed to Windows 8, along with other marquee apps like Flipboard and NFL Fantasy Football. No word yet on hard release dates for any of them, but it’s encouraging to know that they’re coming, right?
