Social Shopping Site The Fancy Gets New Funding and Will Smith as an Investor

The Fancy, the commerce site that lets users post cool products from around the Web and buy them right from the site, has received another large infusion of capital. Bloomberg reported that the round totaled $53 million, but that seems to include a previous investment of $26 million that closed in October. Since then, the company has raised about $27 million, according to an SEC form filed last week. A person familiar with the deal confirmed a Bloomberg report that actor Will Smith invested in the round.
