New York Times Hires New Ad Boss, Via Forbes

The New York Times, which has been looking for an ad sales chief since April, has filled the position: Meredith Kopit Levien, who has been heading up ads at Forbes Media for the last two years, will come to the Times next month. She’ll be tasked with turning around, or at least stabilizing, drooping ad sales for new CEO Mark Thompson.
