AMD Swings to Q2 Loss on Declines in Chip Sales

Advanced Micro Devices Inc. swung to a second-quarter loss as the chip maker continued to suffer sales declines on lower demand for personal computers.

Shares fell 4.3 percent after hours to $4.42. Through the close, the stock was up 93% since the start of the year.
