Hullabalu’s Pan, the Undeniably Cute Purple Panda for iPad, Comes to iPhone

If you haven’t used this to “babysit” your kids yet, maybe the iPhone app will do it: A fast-growing, interactive iPad app called Pan: The Fearless Beribolt is coming to iPhone. Pan, created by a New York-based startup called Hullabalu, normally costs $3.99 but will be available for 99 cents for a limited time. Creator Suzanne Xie declined to say how many times the iPad app has been downloaded, but did say that it has seen more than a million “touches” — swipes and taps that kids (or adults) must perform to move the story along. Hullabalu recently raised $1.8 million to fund the development of its story apps.
