BlackBerry Shares Rally

BlackBerry’s Monday announcement that it has established a committee to explore strategic alternatives that could include a sale of the company is giving its perennially down stock a boost today. BlackBerry’s share price rose about 10 percent in early trading Tuesday, briefly hitting $11.87 before slipping a bit. A nice pop for a stock that has slipped more than 30 percent over the past three months.
