Amazon.com Suffers Web Outage

Amazon.com went down for at least 30 minutes on Monday afternoon. The site was back up by around 3:35 pm ET. Other sites owned by Amazon, such as Soap.com and Zappos.com, seemed to be unaffected. And Netflix, which runs on Amazon Web Services, also seemed to be running smoothly during that time. Amazon spokespeople haven’t yet responded to phone calls and email messages seeking more information.
