Opower Adds Guidewire’s Marcus Ryu and LinkedIn’s Deep Nishar to Board
Opower, the energy usage data visualization company, today said that Guidewire CEO Marcus Ryu and LinkedIn SVP of products and user experience Deep Nishar would join its board of directors, citing their experience in strategy, company culture and big data. Opower, which aims to help consumers reduce energy consumption, counts 85 utility partners with 18 million customers, and has been discussed as an IPO candidate for some time.
