Sprint Pitches Jetsons-Like Future in New Concept Video

If you think technology already rules our lives, just wait.

A new concept video from Sprint shows off a world in which kids from around the world can play baseball with each other remotely, and where parents can be on a business trip and yet not have to miss a single sigh from their kids. Adults, meanwhile, can also virtually monitor and nag their aging parents, too.

The five-minute YouTube video is all that pie-in-the-sky optimism typically found in such efforts, but it does make for some fun viewing, especially if you are the type still waiting for your life to more closely resemble that of George and Judy Jetson.

And, though not mentioned in the video, apparently this can all be done with an unlimited data plan, since Sprint has been promising unlimited data for life in its latest marketing campaign.
